Update from This is Europa
Some of you have (and rightfully so) wondered why we have been inactive for several months now and the reason behind that is that we have taken time off to recharge our batteries and rethink our approach and what messages we want to convey (which is also why we have removed most of our content on our site and on our YouTube Channel with the aim to more or less start fresh).
In other words, how we want to move forward with This is Europa.
This is Europa has had many phases over the years, which is natural since we all grow as human beings. Rather than trying to simply spread certain talking points we are now much more interested in having actual discussions with people, especially with people who might not initially agree with us, and see whether we can make ourselves understood or not.
We genuinely want to find out if they are against the idea of continuity of Europeans (both in a culturally and an ethnically sense) in itself or if it's simply the way it has been communicated in the past. As it stands, no person, party or organization has been able to promote a continuity of Europeans without being labeled a racist by the political correct for the past 50 years or so. We wish to find out why that is.
If its because of how it has been communicated or represented, then the question is what would be an acceptable way to communicate it? Or rather, how do you communicate it without triggering certain negative associations which usually is the case?
While the answer may vary depending on context and who you ask, the underlying goal for us is to take part in making the debate climate more nuanced through the use of thoughtful discussions and to explore peaceful solutions that could be beneficial for all parties involved. We understand that some may be skeptical or have disbelief with such an approach but it is an approach that we believe in.
And speaking of approach we also want to find ways to break any negative associations people might have against us going forward (at least as much as possible). We behind This is Europa are just regular people. We don't identify ourselves as part of the ”alt-right movement” or the like and therefore do not wish to take actions that would cause any unnecessary and untrue affiliations about us. This is Europa has always been an independent initiative and will remain so.
That being said, we will still bring up the fact that we have a demographic shift taking place in the West, but it will not be our main focus anymore since it's already established and if we do bring it up in context it will be more objective/fact-based than before. Like previously mentioned, our new ambition is to be more solution oriented and to contribute to a more healthy and nuanced debate climate about related topics.
As for content, don't expect us to publish articles or videos on a consistent schedule. We are a think tank and we will produce content when we actually feel that we have new insights worth sharing. We will not fall into the typical trap of creating content for the sake of creating content. If that stuns our growth short term then so be it. Going forward we will do what makes sense to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this statement. For more information about our current goals and beliefs, please visit our About page on our website at: https://thisiseuropa.net/aboutus/
We hope you will be with us in this journey.
Kind Regards,
This is Europa
