Heche talked about having a rough day with Heather Duffy Boylston, who is also the actor’s spokeswoman, on their “Better Together” podcast, which was published the day before the crash. The podcasting business Straw Hut Media informed USA TODAY that the programme was taped on Tuesday, many days before it was broadcast.

Following the disaster, the episode “Just the 2022 of Us” was taken down from streaming providers because of “inaccurate reporting that the programme was taped on the day of the tragedy,” according to Ryan Tillotson, a Straw Hut Media representative. The Straw Hut website still has a copy of it posted.

Heche claimed she had “a pretty unique day” on the podcast.
