Namesake notable "Smith" behind the name "Lady Smith Mayor" ... with some wiki history here:
Lady Smith Manor was the residence of Liberal Smith and his wife Sarah -- Premier Smith of the Colony of New Brunswick also known as Honourable Sir Albert James Smith ... he is buried in the Dorchester New Brunswick cemetary.. he appears to have had one son who died on the same day as him... how tragic... one wonders if they were involved in some sort of accident?

Keep up with the adventures at Facebook, Instagram, Youtube.... with Miriam originally from the UK who came to New Brunswick from B.C. with her husband Stephen to buy and restore the old manor home ... I have added one of the videos to my Bitchute channel for the record where Miriam talks about someone donating their entire royal family book collection to her for the Manor's library... here at this link on my channel:

We are so excited, honoured and grateful to find out today that we are a finalist in both the “Partnership Award” and “Product Development Award” categories of the Tourism Industry Association of NB 2022 Awards. TIANB / AITNB
And just when we thought we couldn’t get more excited…..we have also been nominated by the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture for a national Canadian Tourism Award.
Words can’t describe how honoured we are to be nominated, and how much we appreciate each and every person who has been part of our journey over the last few years.
We are so proud to be part of this amazing community and are so grateful that we have the opportunity to bring the Manor back to life for you to enjoy.
I'm not on Facebook but I did recently come across Miriam's project this year when I noticed the group 'Dorchester NB and Area Happenings' ..
