It’s finally happening—we brought our first animals to the island! After days of building fences and prepping the shelter, we loaded up four little goats onto the deck of our boat, Cape Millie, and made the journey back across the ocean to our off-grid home on the island.
Once the goats were safely settled into their new forest pen, we jumped into our next big upgrade: a gravity-fed water system. We started building a setup that will bring fresh water into the goat pen, the house, and eventually the rest of the farm. It’s the first real step toward creating a self-sufficient homestead.
Later in the episode, Kelly shares a new original song—something she just finished writing and performs here on video for the very first time. It’s a special moment we’re excited to share with everyone following our journey.
As always, we wrap things up with a Q&A at the kitchen table, answering some of your top questions from the comments. And this week, we are announcing the winners of Kelly's Sea-glass necklaces. If your name is on this list below please reach us at skoteoutdoors@gmail.com

Thanks again for following along. We’re just getting started out here, and every day is a little better than the last.
