"Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Medal Recipients

Congratulations to MOPC Councillors Chester Dewar (District 12) and Andy Thompson, (District 11) on being recipients of Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Medals this past weekend during a ceremony in Westville. The medals were presented by Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston to recipients who have shown leadership in municipal government and their communities.
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal (Provincial) commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Accession of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second to the Throne as Queen of Canada."
