Lügenpresse is not originally a "nazi word." In fact it was used by Communists before it was used by National-Socialists. The earliest use that I found was in 1840. In Germany the word has never been the property of one faction. I think that Richard Spencer probably picked it up from PEGIDA rather than from the few obscure instances of National-Socialists using the term.
