Herbert Grönemeyer is a popular German actor and musician.

Alternative für Deutschland AFD, Deputy leader Beatrix von Storch denounced Herbert Grönemeyer on Twitter as a “new terror from the left” and wrote, “This is the most frightening, worst, totalitarian hate speech I’ve ever heard.” Even Author Bernd Stegemann, who works closely with the left-wing movement “getting up” whose aim is to exert pressure on German political parties and to bring about a shift to the left in politics and society, said on Twitter: “The tone with which Grönemeyer politically heats his audience makes me a little scared – I do not like to say it, but he sounds like a speaker before 1945.”
