Oh yes, the astrological currents are getting *intense* -- we're approaching the 12:12 portal (the period between December 12 and December 21, when the Universe puts a big ol' spin cycle on what needs to get washed out with the old year to clean up your energy for the new), the Schumann Resonance (the Earth's heartbeat) is ultra-high, and we're right in it with the energy of the Full Moon in Gemini! .
Last evening I started to feel shall we say, disconnected? and as soon as I noticed that feeling settle in I felt called to ask my Herbcrafter's "what do I need to know right now?" I was deeply moved (and felt fully reconnected, lol) to pull The Wheel of Fortune, called Kitchen Garden in this deck 💚💜Something I've been struggling to make peace with over the past year is the brutal mundanity of figuring out what to make for dinner each. and. every. day -- it's extra hard with small children buzzing around telling you they hate that ingredient, they hate that meal, followed by them picking at it and having to throw out what could be seen as precious food-dollars, just right into the trash 😫🙄
.
But! Pulling this card felt like a cool moment to notice and feel gratitude for the fact that grocery money is becoming less of a pinch, that we *have* food and a lovely workplace that helps us provide it, that I have lovely babies to at least place that food in front of (😂😂) -- and more than anything, that the mental work I've been doing to expand my perspective on how very much I have to be grateful for is creating major waves of positive change in my life, even and especially when it feels the most challenging to dig deep and connect with that 💚💜
.
This Full Moon involves a Yod, a rare aspect sometimes called the "Finger of God" between The Moon in Gemini, the Sun in Sagittarius, and Mars in Scorpio -- that finger will be pointing directly at what keeps you feeling angry with yourself and the world, and will also provide the Very Real Answers surrounding how to channel that frustration into the drive you need to reaccess your pure sense of friendliness, of curiosity, and willingness to actively seek what expands upon your joy 🥳🎆🎊💕
