Update on Jason Kessler's Case in Charlottesville VA

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Senior U.S. District Judge Norman K. Moon threw out a civil suit filed by Jason Kessler claiming the City of Charlottesville violated his civil rights, according to court documents.

Moon dismissed the case on Friday at the U.S. District Court Western District of Virginia' Charlottesville Division. 

In 2019, Kessler filed the lawsuit two years after the Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville on Aug. 12. Two months later, the city filed a motion to dismiss the case.
