"a box of things they put together to put in the cornerstone" ... " no inscriptions on the box "

at the pedestal base of the removed statue..

One of the finds inside.... Silver dime from 1883 attached to Holy Bible... and some others are.... 

carved wooden confederate flag and compass and square masonic symbol as well as some confederate money .. and 1886 Royal Arch Masons Grand Chapter Book with a silver coin liberty on one side and eagle on the other... 

Removing the statue by protestors actually led to the historic "masonic artifacts" being found/discovered in 2021.
