" With the Hon. Graydon Nicholas as our final luncheon speaker, the Rough Waters Conference has come to a close.
Over the past few days, we had the privilege of hearing from some of the leading scholars and experts in the field of Indigenous law and policy. From exploring the implications of the Marshall decisions to analyzing tax revenue sharing agreements and fishing rights, our speakers offered unique perspectives on the complex legal and economic frameworks that govern treaty implementation and Indigenous rights in Canada.
We're grateful for the engaging and thought-provoking discussions that took place and for the opportunity to learn from one another. We look forward to continuing these conversations and working towards a future of justice and reconciliation for all Indigenous peoples.
Thank you to our incredible speakers, organizers, and attendees for making this workshop a success! We would also like to thank @mountallison for their support of this endeavour. "
