Today the former mayor of Tantramar Andrew Black is now Executive Director of this charity organization... babysitting adults with "barriers".
Leaving politics to run an NGO is the new normal.
Taking donations means the public has no idea how much they have collected towards their grift.

N.G.O. - non governmental organizations and non-profits are worth paying attention to.. in their deeds, their ideologies, the politics they promote, and their key players operating outside of the normal business model based on "social entrepreneurship" which has been covered before at this blog. Their "new economy" is picking winners and losers and favouring those who are not purely run as capitalist organizations.. it is their "radical third way".
Our society seems to have become comfortable with this nannystatism and mooching.. sadly.
The philosophy of communitarianism or Big Mother as Niki Raapana would say is the "solution" for the "problem of capitalism".. a kinder, gentler, and more compassionate way to do business.. for some its like taking candy from a baby.. easy.. peasy... but for others with ethics and a sense of fairness they see the problem with this "model".. and the coddling and dumbing down of society.
