Morning broke with a warning sound,
The whole world watching what’s going down.
When freedom calls from a distant land,
America’s ready to make a stand.
Boots on the ground, standing side by side,
Holding the line with courage and pride.
When the storm rolls in, we won’t back down,
We’ll answer the call—boots on the ground.
One flag flying, freedom ringing loud,
America rising—boots on the ground.
From Tehran streets comes a restless sound,
Voices for freedom are gathering ’round.
If the call comes down to stand with Iran,
We’ll answer together, woman and man.
