Greg Hallett told me years ago that Amazon sells his books and keeps the profits.. so I don't buy from them.. I refuse to contribute to the theft taking place... simple as. Vote with your money folks.

I've been saying since 2019 that Amazon is keeping majority of my earnings from my book... There was a month where they messed up and it showed they owed me $17,000 in commissions for the past 4 months (approx 3,000 books)... They paid me back in small payments of $3000+ for the first two months and then it stopped. So I wrote them again, and they asked for me to prove the money owed yet again - by now the sales history was rewritten and less than 20 books were sold each month according to their new system of having a 'Royalties Estimator'.
Yes I had photos showing the money owed. But they came back saying it was an error... Even though they never asked for the $6000+ back, and I still remained in the top 1% of authors in the categories.
So after that, I still remained #1 - #10 for the next many years - but now I see the book dropping even though I have people writing me daily from around the globe saying they bought my book and absolutely LOVE it!
So here we are yet again today. - Last month, they say only 10 books sold worldwide! 10! lol
None from Germany - even though I know a Reader bought one from there last month. Only one from Canada - yet how many of you told me you had books arriving this past week alone?
This is such a scam!
I'd LOVE to see a federal audit done on Amazon / KDP on-demand printing house... I bet it's in the billions of dollars that's not being paid out to the authors. Who's to know? How do we check? It's a system set up to defraud the author's - especially author's without an Agent or large Publishing House.
I wish a whistle blower from the Amazon Publishing House will come out and show the real numbers... because I KNOW these are not real! "
