We are just days away from the Value of Alberta Conference at the Calgary Telus Convention Center -- the largest-ever conference on Alberta's place in Confederation. We're anticipating a sold-out room, even after increasing our capacity three times, so we are glad to count you among those who will be joining us on January 18th.
The conference takes place in Macleod Hall in the lower level of the south building, located between 8th and 9th Avenues. Parking is available in the parkade underneath the Telus Convention Center's north building. When going south on 1st St SE, you can enter this parkade just after 7th Avenue, on the right side. There is also additional parking available at the Palliser Parkade and others nearby. See below for parking rates. Additionally, there is a CTrain stop immediately adjacent to the Convention Center.

If parking in the North building parkade, make your way to the main level, exit to the south, cross Stephen Avenue (8th Ave) and enter the south building doors directly in front of you. Go down the stairs to find yourself at Macleod Hall.
Please proceed to registration to receive your name badge. Coat check will be available at a rate of $3 per coat. Plan to arrive for 8:00 am, or soon after, which will allow you time to register, enjoy a light continental breakfast, and network before our formal program begins at 8:50 am.
Coffee and tea will be served at two networking breaks throughout the day and guests will enjoy a bistro lunch of sandwiches/wraps and soup. Considerations have been made for vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free diners; however, those with severe food restrictions are encouraged to bring their own meals as we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination in this buffet-style format.
If you plan to make purchases, please be aware that ATM services may not be available. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted. Conrad Black will have a limited number of copies of his book “The Canadian Manifesto” available for purchase for $20, and will host a book signing between 2:30-3:00pm. Alberta Proud will also be accepting optional donations in support of our continued efforts to amplify Alberta’s voice -- digital outreach and audience engagement. Cash donations of up to $50 will be accepted, and donation forms will be available for larger gifts. You’ll also want to take part in the post-conference networking reception from 4:40pm to 6:00pm, where a cash bar will be available.
Please be advised live-recording of the event will take place. Media will also be in attendance. Business casual attire is encouraged.
We look forward to seeing you Saturday.
